Advanced Training and Life Long Learning Program in Applied Sciences

Presentation

The purpose of the project is to jointly reform and modernize a flexible inter-disciplinary training and professional life long program and diploma (LTP) in applied health sciences. A flexible training and diploma will be issued by the partner institutions offering the integrated study program. It is a Lifelong Learning Program to enable people at all stages of their lives to take part in stimulating learning experiences and helping to develop strong institutional and individual capacity building across Southern Neighboring Area (ENPI South).

Project Objectives 

1. Identifying the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats) of the existing training programs, including academic and non-academic staff skills;
2. Introducing and modernization of the training curriculum, teaching material and exam methods as base for creating the new training and diploma program in Health Sciences;
3. Train/retrain a number of university &non university staff, trainees and trainers (TOT);
4. Establish a sustainable virtual health care quality training center (VQC) for Health care sector;
5. Promote the university-industry-society partnerships by jointly establishing of vocational training centers;
6. Dissemination of the results

Other Information

The program is based on advanced information and communication technologies (ICT) and existing EU experience. The program is a multi-functional program focusing on the University- Industry-Society partnerships. The main target groups are university and industry staff, health professional, students, ministry and hospitals staff and other stakeholders. Priority is also for Women. The main outputs and outcomes:

2. Updated and modernized Training and course modules
3. Developed, tested and implement of the Health science training program
4. Modern and effective teaching and training programs and methods
5. Develop Joint University-Industry Training centres
6. Summary Of Work Packages
