Description of the Swing Project

The Swing project is EU-funded Tempus project whose objective is to help partner universities from Morocco and Egypt to introduce assistive technology to facilitate access of disabled students to higher education. Assistive technology refers to low- and high-technology that can be used by students with specific needs to access the university buildings, to read documents and to do research. In this context, European universities offered different training programmes inside Europe and in partner countries. These trainings introduced academics and technical staff to different types of AT and showcased the best practices already in place in European universities.
