You are welcome to Morocco for the exciting event of the first International Symposium on Dielectric Materials and Applications (ISyDMA’2016), that will be held in Kenitra (4 May, 2016) and in Rabat (May 5-6, 2016), Morocco.

ISyDMA’2016 will provide an international forum for reporting the recent developments in Advanced Dielectric Materials and applications. It consists of technical sessions and keynote and tutorial sessions covering several hot topics in dielectric materials advances.


Scope &Topics


The goal of the ISyDMA’2016 symposium is to provide a platform for researchers, scientists from all over the world to exchange ideas and to hold wide ranging discussions on recent developments in dielectric materials and their innovative applications. It is addressed to the materials scientists, physicists, chemists, biologists, and electrical engineers engaged in fundamental and applied research or technical investigations on such materials.

The aim of ISyDMA’2016 meeting is to provide an international forum for the discussion of current research on electrical insulation, dielectric phenomena and related topics. The scope of the ISyDMA’2016 meeting includes, but is not limited to:

Symposium venue

ISyDMA’2016 will be held in Morocco, Kenitra city and Rabat (capital of Morocco). The opening ceremony and first conferences will take place on May 04, 2016 at the Faculty of Sciences, Ibn Tofaïl University, Kenitra, Morocco. The ISyDMA’2016 conferences, keynotes & tutorials will take place over two days (5 and 6 May 2016) at the Mohammed VI Conference Centre, Foundation for Promoting Social Actions in Education and Training, in Rabat (read more).



Visit of the Kenitra and Rabat cities

Kenitra, a city of about 370,000 inhabitants (2005 estimate), lies on the Sebou River near the Atlantic Ocean on the route between the capital city of Rabat and the northern coastal city of Tangier. It was established in 1912 by Louis Hubert Lyautey, Morocco's first French resident general, as a military fort (read more).

Rabat, the capital of Morocco, lies on the Atlantic coastline at the mouth of the Bou Regreg River on the north-western shores of the African continent.
